Area Man Utd need to improve on

Manchester United defender Raphael Varane has pointed out one area the club needs to improve on in the 2023–24 Premier League season

With the new Premier League season set to commence on Friday, Manchester City will open with a game against Burnley.

Ahead of the opener, Varane wants the Red Devils to work on their consistency to raise their level of performance this season as they hope to compete for trophies this season.

“We need to be 100 per cent fit for this season,” Varane told MUTV. “We have been working on the details. Tactically, we want to be ready. We want to work as a team, as a squad.”

The Frenchman added: “We have to be more consistent this season. We have to repeat the good performance every three days. So there are a lot of details.”

“We are working on it, and hopefully we can do better this season, and we want to improve all the time. So it is always a challenge for us to be better.”

Varane joined Manchester United from Real Madrid in the summer of 2021.
