Ferdinard names a dream signing from Chelsea he would love to see at Man Utd
Former Manchester United star, Rio Ferdinand in a recent statement has named a surprising Chelsea defender as his ‘dream’ centre-back signing for the Red Devils.
With the 2023 transfer window already on as Premier League clubs are starting to close in on some huge deals, Man United have seen their second bid for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount rejected.
The Red Devils are expected to sign new players this summer in a bid to strengthen their squad ahead of next season as they would be playing in the Champions League having finished in the top four positions last season.
When asked to name his ‘dream’ defensive signing, Ferdinand chose Chelsea defender Levi Colwill, who spent last season on loan at Brighton.
“If I could get him, my dream one would be [Levi] Colwill, on-loan at Brighton from Chelsea,” Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel.
“But I think Chelsea are going to keep him. I think they’ve seen how good he is now.”
