What may become of Pochettino at Chelsea

Former Man Utd star Gary Neville has predicted what Mauricio Pochettino’s time at Chelsea may look like if the Argentine is named as the Blues’ new permanent manager.

Neville sees Pochettino as a top coach and a perfect march for the current Chelsea squad.

Recall that the Blues have been on a search for a new permanent manager after Graham Potter was sacked last month.

Ahead of the appointment of a new permanent manager, Chelsea brought in Frank Lampard to take charge of the club on a temporary basis.

However, Lampard’s time at Chelsea has been mar with defeats as they have lost 5 of 5 matches played under him.

Neville is of the opinion that Chelsea have a solid core of players who could do well under a top manager like Pochettino.

“Chelsea played Liverpool and there was something in that game that you saw in that collection of players and you thought they could be brought together by a talented coach.

“Pochettino, I think is a really talented coach and I think Chelsea next year could really cause a surprise, just by Pochettino bringing the club together because he will.
