Chelsea football club are monitoring Raphinha’s situation at Spanish club Barcelona are could make moves for him if they put him up for sale in the summer transfer window.

Recall that the Blues almost signed Raphinha during his time at Premier League side Leeds United before he opted to join Barcelona last summer.

Chelsea even submitted a bid worth around £60 million for the then-Leeds United winger.

Barcelona signed him and Chelsea had to turn to Raheem Sterling who they signed from Man City.

Following a difficult start at Camp Nou, Raphinha has gone on to become a key player in recent weeks in Ousmane Dembele’s absence.

Meanwhile, Barcelona president Joan Laporta in a recent statement admitted that in order to sign new players this summer, Barcelona will have to offload some too.

And according to Sport, Chelsea have been alerted to Raphinha’s situation and could consider submitting an offer to test Barcelona’s resolve as they seek to improve their manager Graham Potter’s attacking options at the end of the season.
