Chelsea loan signee rated about Havertz and Ziyech

Former Liverpool star Danny Murphy has rated Chelsea’s new signing, Joao Felix highly than three Blues stars, Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.

According to Murphy, Felix is a ‘magical talent’, as he stressed that the Portugal stat would take over from Havertz, Pulisic and Ziyech.

He also believes Felix will improve Chelsea’s options in attack.

Recall that Chelsea had on Wednesday completed their loan deal for Felix from Atletico Madrid for the remainder of the season.

The Blues signed Felix in a deal worth around £10 million ahead of the likes of Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United.

“If you take away the money side of it for a minute, the way I look at it is I would’ve Joao Felix over Hakim Ziyech, I would’ve him over Christian Pulisic, and I would’ve him over Kai Havertz,” Murphy told talkSPORT.

“Felix and Havertz are quite similar, so maybe that one would be a debate. But Felix will improve their options in the wide areas.

“He’ll keep the ball, go past players, he’s got beautiful technique, he’s strong, he’s got magical talent,” he added.
