Chelsea star hailed after Morocco win vs Belgium

Morocco coach, Walid Regragui, has applauded Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech after his impressive form against Belgium on Sunday.

According to Regragui, Ziyech was incredible for Morocco against Belgium, adding that the former Ajax star can die for the team if he is shown love.

This comes as Morocco unexpectedly thrashed Belgium thanks to goals from Abdelhamid Sabiri and Zakaria Aboukhlal.

“You know this guy [Ziyech], he is incredible,” Regragui said at his post-match press conference.

“The spirit, when he came back into the national team, it came back. What a lot of people say about him is that he is a crazy guy, a difficult guy to manage, and he can’t help the team.

“But for me, what I see is that when you give him love and confidence, he can die for you. And that’s what I give him.

“And you see he is a different player with the national team. He is our leader. The role of the coach is to give him confidence, the same with the staff.”
