Chelsea midfielder and France international N’Golo Kante has been linked with moves away from the club to PSG this summer.

The report revealed the French club are keeping a close eye on Kante’s contract situation at Chelsea.

With just one year left on his current contract with Chelsea, it is unknown whether the west London club are going to offer Kante an extension.

While the Blues manager, Thomas Tuchel, is very keen for the France star to remain at Stamford Bridge, he has, however, admitted that his age, injury history and wage demands will be important factors.

PSG are monitoring this situation, according to The Times, which could result in a transfer offer before the summer window closes on September 1 or the next.

If they are unable to sign him this summer, the French Ligue 1 side have the alternative of waiting to sign Kante on a free transfer next summer.

Kante joined Chelsea from Leicester City back in 2016 and had remained a key player since then. However, his game time has been affected by injury this season.
