Cezary Kucharski, a former agent to Bayern Munich striker and Poland international Robert Lewandowski has disclosed a reason the football star doesn’t want to move to Chelsea.

According to Kucharski, the 33-year-old is afraid of playing in the Premier League.

He revealed that the Polish star is not fully confident he is capable of thriving at Chelsea.

This is coming amid the reports that he has rejected a transfer to Chelsea and set his mind on joining the Spanish side of Barcelona.

It is no longer news that Lewandwski has revealed his desire to leave Bayern Munich this summer and Chelsea have shown interest to sign him.

The Blues manager Thomas Tuchel is determined to sign a new striker this summer especially as Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a return to Inter Milan.

Tuchel is said to have earmarked Lewandowski as the ideal replacement for Lukaku but the Poland captain is said to be worried that it rains too much in England.

Kucharski told Sport 1, “I always heard Robert give a childish explanation that it rains so much in England.

“But I think the real reason was that he didn’t think he could be as efficient as in Germany. Robert was really afraid of that.”
