Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has been handed an injury boost in the person of Jorginho ahead of his side’s match against Leeds United on Wednesday in the EPL.

The Italian midfielder was not involved against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Blues’ most recent match due to an injury he sustained in the first half against Everton the weekend prior.

Jorginho was crucial during Chelsea’s December win over Leeds, scoring two penalties, one of which came in stoppage time, to ensure they emerge winner in a dramatic match at Stamford Bridge.

Aside from Jorginho, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, who scored two goals during the Blues’ game against Wolves was also in full training.

Mason Mount, who is rarely rested by Tuchel also trained. Captain Cesar Azpilicueta, defender Antonio Rudiger and forwards Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner also took part at Cobham.

The Blues would hope to win all three points against Leeds United, having been held to a 2-2 draw in their last match against Wolves.
