Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has refused to comment on the LaLiga giants’ move to sign Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea.

Ancelotti who suffered a 4-3 defeat to Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League semi final on Tuesday night was asked about his club signing the Chelsea star.

Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus, Phil and Bernardo Silva scored for Manchester City to secure the win against the La Liga giants at Ethihad Stadium.

However, Acelloti still has a good chance of beating the Citizens in a return leg which would be played Santiago Bernabeu after Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior gave them hope.

Madrid, however, are in the race to sign Rudiger at the end of the season, with the reports claiming they have reached a verbal agreement.

However, the Real Madrid manager did not open up on the transfer after Real Madrid’s loss to Man City on Tuesday evening.

When asked about Rudiger’s potential move to Madrid by beIN Sports, Ancelotti asked with a smile: “Who is this [Rudiger]?”
