Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is determined to leave the Blues at the end of this season.

It is no longer news that Christensen will see his current deal lapse in the summer; the defender is, however, focused on moving to Spain, where he could join Barcelona.

The recent reports revealed that the defender no longer sees his future at Chelsea.

A tweet by Shay Lugassi claimed that “Andreas Christensen does not see his future at Chelsea. Confirmed by a number of sources close to the player and the Blue Club. Andreas and his agent want to get a big signing bonus in the player’s next contract. Talks with Barça and FC Bayern continue.”

Chelsea may have to focus on signing Jules Kounde from Sevilla in the summer.

A report via Tutto Mercato Web disclosed that the Blues are coming ‘with strength to try to close the operation’. With Marina Granovskaia leading the attempt, they’re said to be offering an initial payment of €55m plus €5m in bonuses.

Tutto Mercato Web claims the agreement between the clubs ‘seems close’, and the defender could indeed leave Sevilla to join the Blues next summer.
