Wolves vs Chelsea possible line up
After the Blues 1-1 draw vs Everton on Thursday night, they will return to action in the EPL, facing the Wolves.
However, the game against the Wolves comes with a big challenge for Chelsea’s manager Thomas Tuchel owing to the fact that many of Chelsea’s attacks are out of the team on one issue or the other.
Tuchel will find it hard rotating his squad as he hopes to win all three points vs the Wolves.
Before the Blues game vs Everton earlier this week, the reports revealed that Ben Chilwell, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku had all returned positive tests for the Covid-19 virus.
There are still doubts on whether Kai Havertz will be available for the trip to Molineux as this depend on the return of his test.
Tuchel is expected to use Trevoh Chalobah and N’Golo Kante at the midfield following their return to the team from hamstring and knee injuries, respectively.
Chalobah could start ahead of Cesar Azpilicueta on the right hand at the back, while Kante’s return may lead to one of Jorginho or Ruben Loftus-Cheek been rested.
Thiago Silva may start ahead of Andreas Christensen.
Chelsea possible starting lineup: Mendy; Chalobah, Silva, Rudiger; James, Kante, Jorginho, Alonso; Mount, Ziyech, Pulisic
