Man Utd on Tuesday night bounce back after weeks of poor football performance, with the most recent being a loss to Watford In the EPL.

The Reds Devils delivered in their Uefa Champions League clash with Spanish club Villarreal as they won the match in a 2-0 shoreline thanks to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho.

The recent win over Villarreal means the Red Devils are on top of Group F with 10 points from 5 matches.

Apart from winning the match, Man Utd star and Portuguese striker Ronaldo set a new record.

According to OptaJoe, Ronaldo’s goal against Villarreal means the Portugal captain is the first-ever player to score in each of an English club’s first five matches of a single European Cup/Champions League season.

Portugal international and Man Utd midfielder Bruno Fernandes also set a record last night as he became the first ever player to create an assist in each of an English club’s first five matches of a single European Cup/Champions League season.

Man Utd will return to action this weekend when they play Chelsea in the EPL and hopefully secure three points.
