The latest update has revealed that Man Utd midfielder Jesse Lingard is set to leave Old Trafford finally.

According to the report, Lingard has turned that Man Utd’s offer to extend his contract.

Lingard had made moves to leave the club last summer, but coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisted he stayed.

Having remained at the club, Lingard has been battling with limited player chances, and he seems tired of that and ready to take his future into his hands by leaving Old Trafford.

The reports claimed Lingard is in talks with a Spanish club which means he is headed for the Spanish La Liga.

The 28-year-old midfielder was sent on loan to West Ham United last season, where he gave some impressive performances but decided to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season

Lingard fired nine goals in 16 appearances for West Ham last season and was reportedly given assurances by Solskjaer that he would be granted more minutes.

But he has been left ‘perplexed’ by the decision from the Red Devils boss to start Dan James just days before his £25 million moves to Leeds.
