The latest report has revealed that Chelsea winger and America international Christian Pulisic is being targeted by Genoa new manager, Andriy Shevchenko.

This comes after Shevchenko was confirmed as the new manager of Seria A club Genoa last weekend following the sacking of Davide Ballardini.

A recent report via AS revealed Shevchenko wants to sign Pulisic to Italy and could make a shock move for the US international in the January transfer window.

Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, has endured a mixed spell at Chelsea this season as he battles with incessant injuries.

So far this season, the American has played just one Premier League game due to an ankle problem, with the likes of Kai Havertz, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mason Mount now ahead of him in Thomas Tuchel’s pecking order.

On the other hand, Genoa, at the moment, are seated in the 17th position on the Serie A table, having won just one league game this season.

With the right offer, Chelsea could consider signing Pulisic to Genoa.
