Man Utd midfielder and France international Paul Pogba has dropped out of the French National team.

The report revealed that Pogba sustained a thigh injury and will not be available to play for the French squad during the ongoing International break.

Recall that a video surfaced on social media earlier on Monday showing the 28-year-old pulling up after taking a shot in training, which saw him limp off the pitch.

However, in a recent update, the French Football Federation has confirmed that Pogba has picked up an injury to his right thigh and will not be available for November’s World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

With Pogba out, the French national team managed by Didier Deschamps has opted to recall Roma’s Jordan Veretout to the squad for their upcoming fixtures with Kazakhstan and Finland.

While it is unknown how severe Pogba’s injury is, there are speculations that he would not be available for Man United’s clash with Watford on November 20.

So far this season, Pogba has made seven assists in 13 games in all tournaments for the Red Devils, but their uncertainty regarding his future at Old Trafford as his current contract will lapse at the end of this season.
