The International break is here again, and players in the European leagues will get beading to their various home countries to participate in one game or the other.

This is the period when club coaches are always worried about their players going on international duties as they could return days later to the club with injuries and fatigue.

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel in a recent statement has expressed worries for two of his players N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic

Recall that Kante missed the Blues wins over Norwich City and Malmo due to muscle discomfort, yet the midfielder has been selected by France boss Didier Deschamps for the World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Finland.

The same goes for Pulisic who has not been active for the Blues in their past few games but has also been named a part of the American national team.

Tuchel, in a statement, explained: “We are happy on one side when our players get nominated because they are proud to play for their country and we want to have the best players that are nominated. On the other side, we would love to rest the players, of course, and give them some days off to disconnect and relax.”
