Although Spanish club Real Madrid are ready to let Belgium international Eden Hazard leave the club in the next transfer window, the latest report has claimed he intends to remain with the Los Blancos instead.

Hazard has made only five starts and five substitute outings this season for Real Madrid and is not regarded as a part of the first choice at Real Madrid under manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Over the past few weeks, Hazard has been linked with a return to the English Premier League, where he could rejoin Chelsea or complete a transfer to Newcastle United.

However, a report via  Marca claimed Hazard has no intention of leaving the Bernabeu at the turn of the year, as he instead is eager to show his qualities in Spain.

The report added that the former Chelsea talisman wants to repay the confidence shown in him in 2019 before injuries and a lack of form took their toll.

While the Los Blancos are not against lowering the wage bill at the campaign’s midway point, the club officials also believe that they should not weaken their squad.
