The latest reports have revealed that Man Utd may no longer be interested in signing West Ham star Declan Rice summer.

Recall that the Red Devils were among the top clubs that were in the race to sign Rice in the recent summer transfer window, but they had to drop the deal owing to the high transfer fee the Hammers were demanding.

The new reports revealed that Man Utd might be looking at other options that could serve as replacements for Rice next season.

A report via ESPN revealed that scouts at Old Trafford are now looking at alternatives to Rice, who has seemingly been priced out of a move to the 20-time English champions.

The report hinted that senior figures at Man United are uncertain on the ability of the English star to ‘take the team to another level, also the Red Devils are not prepared to meet West Ham’s asking price, which is speculated to be in the region of £90m.

This means Man Utd will now focus their attention on identifying other central midfielders that could be targeted next summer.

In another report, Man Utd will return to action this weekend when they face Aston Villa in the Premier League.
