UCL: Ronaldo reacts to Man Utd loss

Man Utd suffered a setback in their first match in the Uefa Champions League for this season.

Recall that the Red Devils faced the Young Boys on Tuesday night.

While many had expected the game to be an easy win for Man Utd owing to the Cristiano Ronaldo factor, among others, they, however, lost the match in a 2-1 scoreline.

The game started with Ronaldo giving the Red Devils an early lead; the hosts, however, found an equaliser after Aaron Wan-Bissaka was handed a Red Card.

The match could have ended in a draw until Jesse Lingard’s poor backpass turned it all into a mess as it gave the Swiss club a stoppage-time winner on Tuesday night.

Following the defeat, Ronaldo has taken to social media to react as he urged his teammates to recover well and focus on the next game.

Ronaldo wrote on social media: “Wasn’t the result we wanted, but now it’s time to recover well and focus on the next game!”
