Lukaku reacts to comparison to Ronaldo

Belgium international and Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has finally reacted to those comparing him to world football star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Recall that Ronaldo and Lukaku just returned to the Premier League this summer after leaving the Italian league.

Lukaku, who is now a Blues player, said he and Ronaldo are wide apart.

While Ronaldo has scored 111 goals on the international scene, Lukaku is a 66 for his home country.

Lukaku in his statement at a press conference ahead of Belgium World Cup qualifier against the Czech Republic, said: “Don’t ever compare me to Cristiano Ronaldo, never.”

He added that Ronaldo is in the top three best players in football history on his list.

The Belgian striker noted that what the Portuguese star has achieved is exceptional.

He, however, expressed his willingness to play against Ronaldo, who Man Utd, which  means they will still have to go head to head in the Premier League.

During their stay in the Italian league, Ronaldo was signed to Juventus and Lukaku player for Inter Milan, which ended up lifting the Seria A title last season.
