Manchester United might have completed the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus but Gary Neville believes his return will not bring the Premier League title to Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford 12 years after he left the club to join Real Madrid and the red devils fans are currently over the moon.

The Portuguese will be eager to help Manchester United return to the summit by winning them another Premier League, a title they’ve failed to win ever since Sir Alex Ferguson left.

However, speaking to Sky Sport, Gary Neville who played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo believes the Portuguese arrival won’t make any difference.

Neville stated that he does not think United will have to adapt too much to Ronaldo’s arrival.

The former England international insisted that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have fantastic forward players, good creative players too, with Jadon Sancho wide, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, they should create plenty of chances for him.

He noted that everyon is expecting Ronaldo to play as a number nine but could he play just to the left of Cavani, with Greenwood or Sancho to the right? That would be a guarantee of goals.

Neville insisted that United’s performances so far, they’ve really struggled in their two away games, but they have a number of players who can go and win a match in a moment.

He added that Ronaldo’s willingness and want to score goals is better than anyone but the big question is whether it’s enough to win the title.

Neville noted that he don’t quite feel it is as the Premier League is the strongest it’s been since the mid-2000s.
