Premier League side, Liverpool could be dealt with another huge blow after the international break as they could miss four players.

The reds have started their season on a good note, winning their first two matches convincingly and hoping they don’t go through another tough time like last season.

Liverpool had an awful time last season as they were ravaged by injuries to the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomes and Jordan Henderson.

Former Bayern Munich midfielder, Thiago also endured a long period out whilst Diogo Jota also missed a few months.

The forthcoming international break can now add more woes to Liverpool’s problem with The Mirror reporting that as many as 50 top flight stars could miss up to two games due to hotel quarantine rules.

The report states that players returning from red list countries are facing a 10 isolation spell which would see them ruled out for two fixtures.

If this should happen, Liverpool will be missing Roberto Firmino, Alisson, Fabinho and Mo Salah for games against Leeds United and Crystal Palace.

They might also miss a Champions League match in mid-week, a move Jurgen Klopp will not be pleased with.
