Tuchel reveals Chelsea’s transfer plan this summer as new season edge closer
Chelsea have been linked with top players across Europe but the blues are yet to announce any player.
Thomas Tuchel has continue to reveal how important it is to strengthen his squad as Chelsea aim to win more silverware under the German tactician.
The former Paris Saint-Germain manager shed more light on the club’s plan this transfer window as we edge closer towards the start of a new season.
Speaking after Chelsea’s draw against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge, Tuchel stated that a lot of players want to come and join but he will not talk about that.
He stated that the board isn’t offering players, that’s not how it works.
According to Tuchel, the coaching crew will talk to the board about players, have their own opinions, and in the end the board target players who in the coaching crew opinion could make the squad strong, which is quite a challenge.
He added that there are some players of which they think can be a good target and improvement in our squad.
Tuchel refused to state the names of this players noting that he don’t like it when other coaches speak about his players.
Chelsea are still linked with their former striker, Romelu Lukaku who scored 24 goals from 36 games in Serie A as Inter won the Scudetto in 2020-21.
