French side Rennes has rejected claims that Premier League side Manchester United have decided to bring Eduardo Camavinga to Old Trafford this summer.

Eduardo Camavinga became one of the most sought-after talents in Europe after his impressive performance with Rennes last season.

The 18-year-old had attracted interest from Manchester United, and with just 12 months remaining on his contract, they are reports that a deal could be struck very soon.

However, Renne’s sporting director Florian Maurice has debunked such claims, noting that Manchester United has never bid for Eduardo Camavinga.

Speaking to TV Rennes, Maurice stated that no offer was received for Eduardo Camavinga, neither from PSG nor from Manchester United.

He added that the club remains calm about his situation, and he knows that Eduardo Camavinga doesn’t want to go free.

Camavinga’s asking price has reportedly been set at £42m, with Paris Saint-Germain ready to battle it out with Manchester United for his signature.

With his contract set to run out in the next 12 months, Rennes might be forced to take a lower price instead of losing him for free next year.
