Premier League side, Arsenal are reportedly willing to sign Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Arsenal had a season to forget under Mikel Arteta last season as they fail to secure a place in any of the European league.

However, they are planning to rejuvenate the squad by bringing in new players that will help complement the stars already in the team.

According to a new report, Aaron Ramsdale has become the club top priority after they couldn’t pursue Ajax shot-stopper Andre Onana who was hit with a year-long doping suspension.

Despite that Onana’s ban has been reduced to nine months by CAS, he will be available for selection in November.

With this in mind, Arsenal is eager to sign Aaron Ramsdale who was one of Sheffield United’s top performer last season.

Sheffield United paid £20m to bring the goalkeeper to Bramall Lane and will want Arsenal to pay nothing less than that.

If Arsenal ends up signing Ramsdale, they might be forced to let go of current no1 Bernd Leno who has been linked with some clubs in Europe.

Leno was criticized for his performance during some stage in the season with fans asking for competition in the goalkeeping department.
