Ziyech on Chelsea’s transfer list

With the summer transfer window less than a few weeks away from commencement, the latest report from Stamford Bridge has revealed that Morocco international, Hakim Ziyech has appeared on the Blues transfer list for this summer.

The 28-year-old who joined Chelsea for around £40m from Ajax in July 2020 during the reign of Frank Lampard signed a five-year contract with the Blues but so far he has failed to live up to expectation.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, Ziyech’s relationship with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is ‘broken’ and the midfielder is now ‘officially on the club’s transfer list.

The Moroccan star has seen his game time reduced as he has fallen down the pecking order behind the likes of Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic.

He has however been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge as he pushes for game time elsewhere.

The report from Italy football league has also revealed that the Serie A clubs Napoli and AC Milan are both admirers of the Moroccan international and will consider making an offer this summer.

AC Milan are already in talks with Chelsea to sign Fikayo Tomori and are believed to have triggered a £25m clause to sign the defender permanently, after an impressive short-term loan in the Seria A.
