Borussia Dortmund prolific goalscorer keen on Chelsea move

Chelsea have apparently been given a significant boost in their quest for Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Braut Haaland, with the player himself inspired by a move to Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel is believed to focus on a move for another a-list striker this summer, with Tammy Abraham’s future questionable and Timo Werner attempting to adjust to English football.

Just as Haaland, the Premier League giants have been tipped to re-sign Romelu Lukaku, but the 28-year-old recently ruled out a move  from Inter Milan this summer.

In any case, The Telegraph reports that Haaland would be excited about a move to Chelsea, and he is glad to wait for an additional a year before linking up with ex-Dortmund boss Tuchel.

The Black and Yellow are evidently waiting for a fee of £172m to authorize Haaland’s exit this summer, however the Norway International’s release clause implies that he could be accessible for a modest £66m one year from now.

Haaland finished the 2020-21 campaign with 41 goals and 12 assists in 41 games across all competitions, and he got the winner for Norway in their 1-0 victory over Luxembourg recently.
