One of the reasons why most football clubs manager do not like the international break is owing to the fact that their players could sustain injury while on international duty.

According to the latest report, Chelsea midfielder, N’golo Kante has suffered injury while on international duty for his home country France.

The report added that Kante has been allowed to return to Stamford Bridge with the report stressing that the issue is not believed to be serious.

Kante played 90 minutes on Wednesday evening as the Les Bleus were held to a 1-1 draw by Ukraine.

He did not appear to be carrying an injury when he left the pitch at full-time, however, further examinations on Thursday have revealed that he has suffered a small injury to his left hamstring.

A statement released by the French national team read; “N’Golo Kante will not take part in the next two matches of the French team on Sunday in Kazakhstan and three days later in Bosnia-Herzegovina.”

The statement revealed that Blues midfielder felt a pain in the hamstrings of the left thigh at the end of the match against Ukraine on Wednesday at the Stade de France.
