Carragher hails Chelsea manager for bravery vs. Liverpool

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel made his 10th undefeated matches in the premier league on Thursday night after the Blues defeated Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Recall that Tuchel arrived at Stamford Bridge to replace Frank Lampard who was sacked in January.

Since his arrival, Tuchel who once coached French giant, Paris Saint Germain PSG has helped the Blues moved from the 9th spot to the top four and has also stated that his focus for this season is to win the Premier League title with Chelsea.

Following the Blues recent win vs. The Reds, football pundit, Jamie Carragher has hailed Tuchel for his brave performance vs. Jurgen Klopp’s led Liverpool squad.

Chelsea had an early win at Anfield thanks to a goal in the first half by Mason Mount as the game ended in a 1-0 scoreline.

Carragher in a statement with Sky Sports said: “They [Chelsea] looked like a real top outfit. They really did. It was almost like a European team coming to Anfield.”

He stated that he looked at Chelsea’s quality and very rarely did Liverpool really get someone, nick the ball off them and put them in any kind of trouble.

Carragher added that Chelsea manager was very brave to come to play at Anfield and play the way he did.

”The pundit stressed that that was how Tuchel plays and he doesn’t see him changing anytime soon.
