Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante have shared his thoughts on the current predicament of youngster Billy Gilmour at Stamford Bridge as he noted that he still has a future.

Billy Gilmour worked his way into the Chelsea team last season under Frank Lampard putting in some impressive performance before a long-term knee injury ended his season.

He came back strongly this season and went straight back into the first-team, showing fans the stuffs he’s made of whenever he’s called upon by the manager.

However, things have been different for the youngster ever since Frank Lampard was axed as the team coach following poor run of results.

New Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has preferred more experienced midfielders in his team despite heaping praise on Gilmour but Kante believes he still has a chance.

Speaking with the club official website, Kante stated that he has trained together with Gilmour for a long time now and they speak.

Their relationship have made them close as Gilmour knows what he likes and he also knows what the youngster like.
