Chelsea receives double injury boast ahead of crunch time against Liverpool

As Chelsea prepare to meet Liverpool in a match that might decide who win the race for top four, the blues have been handed some injury boast.

Chelsea have been putting in impressive performance ever since former Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel was appointed as Frank Lampard replacement and they are willing to continue the run.

The blues last match against Manchester United ended in a goalless draw but the blues suffered an injury to wing back Callum Hudson-Odoi who was substituted at half-time with a knee problem.

However, the English winger might be returning against Liverpool, according to a new report from The Athletic.

Chelsea’s match against last season Premier League winner could also see veteran defender Thiago Silva who has been sidelined for the past four weeks with a hamstring issue make a return to the starting lineup.

The former Paris Saint-Germain defender was present in full training during Tuesday’s session and is likely to be picked ahead of Andreas Christensen.

A victory for Chelsea will further cement their place in the top four battle with Manchester City already running away with the league after another impressive victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
