Arsenal are not done with their business in the transfer window as they are reportedly willing to recall Lucas Torreira from his Atletico Madrid loan spell.

Lucas Torreira was brought in by Unai Emery during his time at Emirates stadium but the Uruguay international has not been able to convince Mikel Arteta with his performance.

He was shipped out to Atletico Madrid on loan but his fortune has not changed under Diego Simeone at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.

Torreira has started just two games for Atletico in La Liga and the Champions League and his situation is currently being monitored by his parent club, Arsenal.

According to Tuttomercato, he could be heading back to North London as Arsenal are willing to sell him to any club that’s willing to pay for his service.

The club does not see him as part of their plans and does not want to keep him in the squad due to his wages that might raise tension in the dressing room.

Torreira has been linked with a move back to the Seria A while Ligue1 side Monaco are said to be interested in signing him on a three-year deal.

The deal will have to be completed in the next few days.
