What Lampard must do to remain at Chelsea

Former England international, Frank Lampard is about to feel the heat from the Blues hierarchy as there are now indications that his job is on the line.

Despite spending £200 million to bring in new players in the summer transfer window it has not been worth it for the Blues so far this season as they continue to struggle to perform.

According to the Mirror UK reports, the Blues hierarchy have given Lampard one condition to fulfill if he wants to remain in charge at Stamford Bridge.

The report revealed that Lampard has been given the mandate to make sure the Blues make it to the top four on the EPL table.

Senior officials at Chelsea are willing to give him this season to turn the club’s fortunes around and not make a decision mid-season.

But the report hinted that the Blues are considering Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl, RB Leipzig’s Julian Nagelsmann and Thomas Tuchel who was just sacked at Paris Saint-Germain as possible replacements for Lampard if things go south.

Former Juventus manager, Max Allegri has also disclosed his intentions to manage in England.

Hopefully, Lampard will be able to work things out with his squad and make it to the top four at least.
