Gary Neville recently shared his opinion about the Euro 24 with his focus on the Spanish national team.

Neville singled out Chelsea left back Marc Cucurella as the weak link in Spain squad, stressing that he would affect the team chances of going far in the tournament.

According to Neville, Cucurella struggled with inconsistent form at Chelsea since joining them from Brighton in a money deal worth £60 million.

Spain are in the group of death alongside Italy and Albania and the former Manchester United defender opined that Cucurella is one reason why La Roja will not end up going far in the tournament.

Speaking with ITV, Neville said he didn’t think Cucurella will play for Spain.

According to Neville, Cucurella has not been convincing at Stamford Bridge as he has played a few games towards the end of the season.

The former defender said the Spaniard is aggressive, tenacious, and a busy little full-back.

Neville added that the price tag Chelsea paid to Brighton for Cucurella still astounds everybody he thinks of to this day.

Meanwhile, Cucurella is looking forward to playing under Chelsea new manager Enzo Maresca who will take over the reigns of the team from July.
