Eduardo Camavinga is pleased by Real Madrid’s interest, but the Rennes young midfielder will hold off until the summer before settling on a choice on his future.

The youngster has grabbed the attention in Ligue 1 since making his debut in April 2019 and is broadly viewed as high on Real Madrid’s list of targets.

The 18-year-old, already played three times for France, is under contract with Rennes until the end of next season and is accepted to be valued at around £44m.

However, Eduardo Camavinga is in no race to leave Roazhon Park, everything except ruling out a January exit amid solid interest from Los Blancos.

Obviously it is pleasant when a major club is keen on you, he told Canal+. In any case, I am at Stade Rennais.

We will stand by until the end of the season. We will meet around the table and we will see the upsides and downsides.

The France international has also recently been touted as a target for Chelsea, Juventus and Manchester United.
