Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos is eager to return to Real Madrid when his second loan spell at the Emirates comes to an end at the end of the season.

Dani Ceballos caught the eyes of top teams some seasons ago before making the switch to Real Madrid but things didn’t work out as planned as he left the Spanish giant for greener pastures.

The Spaniard’s first season at Arsenal was fruitful as he played an important role for the Gunners during their FA Cup-winning 2019-20 campaign.

However, Ceballos has struggled to make as much of an impact this season as he is behind the likes of Mohamed Elneny, Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka .

Mikel Arteta’s team have been putting in some impressive performance without Ceballos and the 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from London.

Real Madrid are also reportedly considering an early recall as he finds himself in and out of Mikel Arteta’s team.

Ceballos has now opened up on how he’s willing to return to the Bernabeu

Speaking on Spanish radio programme El Larguero, Ceballos stated that a third year on loan is not a thine he would consider.

He noted that his goal is to return to Real Madrid and be important at the best club in the world.

Ceballos added that he believe that one day he will come back and be able to return the affection that the fans showed him as for various reasons, he didn’t leave the club in the best manner.
