Deal CLOSE: Manchester United to pay Porto asking price to sign talented defender

Manchester United will allegedly need to think of a proposal of £25m so as to sign Porto left-back Alex Telles before the end of this current summer’s transfer window.

Premier League giants continue to be connected with a move for Alex Telles, and FC Porto coach Sergio Conceicao recently admitted that the left-back could leave the club before the transfer deadline.

The Red Devils are supposed to be hesitant to pay over the odds for Alex Telles considering that the Brazil international’s current contract in Portugal is expected to lapse the following summer.

Notwithstanding, as indicated by report, the Red Devils should make a proposal of £25m in order for Porto to endorse a deal.

The report guarantees that both the left-backs agent Jorge Mendes and Pini Zahavi are involved in the deal as an intermediary, will share 15% of any deal.

Then, it is asserted that talented defender’ previous club Galatasaray will take 10% of a transfer fee, implying that Porto are facing passing up a fourth of what Manchester United pay if the deal goes through.
