Arsenal have purportedly tabled a £22.5m bid to sign Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.

Odsonne Edouard has been connected with a move away from the Scottish champions following a productive spell which has seen him score 51 goals in the course of the last two seasons, including 28 last season.

There are reports that Arsenal have recognized Odsonne Edouard as a potential swap for Alexandre Lacazette and have made the main move towards signing the young striker this season.

Arsenal are watching out for Alexandre Lacazette choices in the midst of progressing hypothesis over his future at the Emirates Stadium, with Juventus thought to be interested in the striker.

Alexandre Lacazette has openly affirmed his desire to remain at Arsenal, but the club are perceived to consider his deal so as to help raise funds for different targets, for example, Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar.

The Gunner’s £22.5m approach for Odsonne Edouard is perceived to be spread out in installments over four years, however Celtic are interested for a bigger sum to be settled in advance.

Odsonne Edouard has scored 49 goals in 84 league games for Celtic since joining from Toulouse.
