Chelsea observe two additional targets this summer

Chelsea are supposedly observing two additional transfer targets after their solid start to the summer.

As per reports, the Blues are presently arranging a likely deal for Atletico Madrid shot stopper Jan Oblak, and also in the chase for Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell.

Jan Oblak has being connected with Chelsea by Ivisionsport, who also guaranteed that the Blues could attempt to get his price tag down by offering battling goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in return.

Ivisionsport guarantee Chelsea would almost certainly offer around £90m including Kepa Arrizabalaga for Jan Oblak, and that could surely be a fine bit of business for the club to land probably the best player in the world.

As substantiated by reports, Jan Oblak’s release clause at Atletico Madrid is around £120m, so Chelsea FC would do well to get him for not as much as that.

Ben Chilwell has already also been connected with Chelsea for a while, who detailed he could cost around £60m to sign from Leicester City.

If Chelsea can land both Jan Oblak and Ben Chilwell for a consolidated £150m, adding to the £83m Ivisionsport guarantee they’ve just spent on Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, it could take the club’s spending to an astounding £233m this summer.

That would demonstrate the Blues’ serious aspiration to close the hole on the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool next season and mount even more title challenge than they ever tried this term.

Frank Lampard’s side has been terrible defensively this season, with his team conceding 49 Premier League goals in total, including eight over their last four games.

With Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech already in to fortify Chelsea’s attack, it bodes well that the club could now put tremendous amount to get Jan Oblak and Ben Chilwell to assist them with improving at the opposite end of the pitch.
