Liverpool have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of highly-rated Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, with fresh discussions taking place between the player’s representatives and the Merseyside club.

However, any move for the Morocco international is expected to be far from straightforward, with Arsenal and Real Madrid also closely monitoring his situation.

Bouaddi enjoyed an impressive campaign in Ligue 1 last season, establishing himself as one of the brightest young midfield talents in European football. His performances for Lille attracted widespread attention, and he has continued to enhance his growing reputation with a series of standout displays for Morocco at the 2026 World Cup.

With interest from several elite clubs increasing, there is a strong belief that Bouaddi could leave Lille before the start of next season. Liverpool are understood to view the midfielder as a player capable of strengthening their long-term project, but they are not alone in the race.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently revealed that a number of Europe’s biggest clubs have already initiated contact with the player’s camp. According to Romano, Paris Saint-Germain have been particularly attentive to Bouaddi’s development and have held discussions regarding a potential move.

The growing list of admirers highlights just how highly the teenager is regarded across Europe. Liverpool remain keen to secure his signature, but with Arsenal, Real Madrid and PSG all showing strong interest, competition for the midfielder is expected to be intense.

Should a transfer materialise, it could require a record-breaking fee for Lille, underlining Bouaddi’s status as one of the most sought-after young talents in world football.
