Man Utd: Carragher sends message to Amorim

Manchester United performance under Ruben Amorim has continued to dip with former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, also sending a message to the manager.

In a statement, Carragher advised Amorim, to leave Old Trafford as quickly as possible.

Carragher made the statement while speaking on Football Night.

The Red Devils finished at the 15th spot on the Premier League table last season and are currently at the 14th on the log this season, a sign that they could go lower before the end of this campaign.

Amorim is yet to win successive games, having lost 3-1 at Brentford last weekend.

Carragher opined that Amorim’s tenure has been “a disaster” at Old Trafford.

He said: “This has been a disaster for Man United and Ruben Amorim. What he did at Sporting Lisbon was fantastic and he looked like the next big thing as a manager.”

So far, the Red Devils have been linked with moves for a replacement for Amorim especially, with indications showing they could find themselves in the relegation zone before the end of the season.

Like Carragher, many Man Utd’s also believe Amorim’s time at the club is over.
