Saka could compete for game time? Arsenal winger compared with Madueke

Former Aston Villa star Gabby Agbonlahor has compared Arsenal star Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke after the former Chelsea star’s impressive international break.

Recall that Madueke was called up by England national team coach and former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel in the first international break of the season.

Madueke impressed for the Three Lions and was repaid by Tuchel with two starts over the September break.

Saka, on the other hand didn’t earn a call up as he was ruled out over a hamstring injury.

Madueke, who arrived at Emirates Stadium in the summer has been playing on the right side in place of Saka for both Arsenal and England.

The former Chelsea star has impressed when called upon, stirring up comparison between him and Saka.

Agbonlahor while speaking via talkSPORT, shared one thing he’s noticed about the Arsenal’s two wingers.

“I love Saka, but the problem I have with Saka sometimes is that he loves to get the ball to feet,” Agbonlahor said.

“What I loved about Madueke’s goal was that he ran in behind, a great flick from Morgan Rogers as well, a fantastic goal,” the former Aston Villa said, in reaction to the former Chelsea star’s performance for England.
