Liverpool vs Arsenal: Former Man Utd star drops prediction

Former Man Utd star Garry Neville has shared his prediction ahead of Arsenal’s game against Liverpool in the English Premier League.

Following the Gunners’ victory against Leeds United last weekend, manager Mikel Arteta will lead his side to Anfield to face Liverpool in a match that would decide their current stand on the league table.

The match has been described as a top-of-the-table clash, with both teams having won their first two matches so far, but one of them will lose their perfect record.

Ahead of the match, Neville tipped Arsenal to emerge victorious at Anfield on Sunday.

While the Gunners are yet to concede a goal, manager Arne Slot side have let in four already against Bournemouth and Newcastle United.

Speaking ahead of the clash on the latest episode of The Overlap, Neville explained why he “fancied” Arsenal.

He said: “I fancy Arsenal to win.”

Neville believes Arteta will travel to Anfield with Mikel Merino, Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi, Eberechi Eze or Leandro Trossard, but he’ll have the big back four or five in the box.

The former Man Utd star tipped the match to end with a 2-1 scorelines in favour of Arsenal.
