Arsenal legend sends important message to Eberechi Eze

Former Arsenal star Thierry Henry has sent an important message to the club’s newest signing Eberechi Eze.

Henry emphasised on the need for Eze to fight for the Gunners in every circumstances

The football legend made the remarks while expressing his delight after the North London club secured a deal for the England international.

Recall that Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Eze from Crystal Palace this summer transfer window.

The Frenchman also charged the 27-year-old to make his arrival at the Emirates Stadium “count.”

The Gunners unveiled Eze at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday after he completed his £68m move from Crystal Palace.

In a statement via Arsenal’s official website, Henry welcomed Eze to the North London club.

“You don’t understand how happy we all are. We all know how much you wanted to play for The Arsenal, and wear the cannon at the Emirates.

“It’s not a dream anymore, it’s not a utopia. That has become reality. Make sure that you make it count,” Henry said.

Meanwhile, Eze is likely to make his debut for Arsenal when they play against Liverpool at Anfield next Sunday in the Premier League.
