Saka is expected to be on the sidelines when Arsenal play against Premier League champions Liverpool at Anfield next weekend.

Neville opined that Madueke, who arrived at Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, should switch flanks and start in Saka’s position on Sunday against Arne Slot’s side.

Madueke was clinical for Arsenal during their game against Leeds United which ended in a 5-0 victory for the Gunners.

The former Chelsea star, who many Gunners fans had criticised his transfer to Emirates Stadium could end up becoming a key player at the North London club.
