Gyokeres decides between Arsenal and Man Utd

Viktor Gyokeres has emerged has one of the most in demand players in the ongoing summer transfer window.

While Arsenal were previously the leading the race to sign Gyokeres from Sporting CF, they have been joined by Premier League rivals like Man Utd and Chelsea, who have also shown interest in him.

However, Manchester United appears to be Arsenal’s main challenger as reports disclosed the Red Devils are still trying to hijack the Gunners’ bid to sign Gyokeres from Sporting CF.

While the Gunners have failed to finalize the transfer for Gyokeres since making their interest known, SIC reports that Man Utd have been encouraged and have tabled a bid close to £70m.

With the Swedish star holding out for a transfer to Arsenal, Sporting on the other hand, would likely accept the best offer from club ready to meet their demand.

However, Arsenal are believed to be relaxed about the situation as negotiations are very advanced.

Gyokeres also appears to have seemingly decided on his next club as he has gone on strike and vowed not to play for the Portuguese champions again.

The 27-year-old striker was seen in Majorca along with his agent last week and is believed to be keen on joining Arsenal this summer.
