Arsenal Risk Losing Striker Target to Saudi Club

Arsenal’s search for a new striker has taken a worrying turn, with reports suggesting that one of their top transfer targets could be heading to the Saudi Pro League instead.
Following three consecutive second-place finishes in the Premier League, it’s clear Arsenal are in need of a clinical striker to boost their title hopes. Many believe that a consistent, injury-free centre-forward could have made the difference in last season’s title race, where Liverpool ultimately prevailed. Rival fans have even mocked Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, branding him “always the bridesmaid, never the bride.”
Currently, Arsenal rely on Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus in the striker role, but both have struggled with injuries and lack the consistent goal-scoring output required to push the team to the next level. Strengthening this position has become a key priority for the Gunners this summer.
However, according to reports from The Sun, Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko is attracting serious interest from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal. The Saudi giants have already missed out on Victor Osimhen, who rejected their advances twice, and have now turned their attention to Sesko. Also on Al-Hilal’s shortlist is Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, who is reportedly looking to improve his current deal.
With competition growing, Arsenal now face the real possibility of losing out on Sesko unless they act quickly to secure his signature and fend off interest from the Saudi Pro League.
