Arsenal are continuing transfer discussions for Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze, despite their focus on other high-profile targets this summer.

Eze remains firmly on Arsenal’s radar as the club looks to strengthen multiple areas of their squad.

In recent days, Arsenal have been progressing with deals for Viktor Gyokeres and Noni Madueke. Both players have reportedly agreed personal terms to join the Gunners, with Arsenal now working on finalising transfer agreements with their respective clubs.

Arsenal have already completed two summer signings. Kepa Arrizabalaga’s move from Chelsea was officially announced last week, followed by the confirmation of Martin Zubimendi’s arrival from Real Sociedad. Additionally, a deal is in place for Christian Norgaard to join from Brentford in a £15 million move, adding further depth to Mikel Arteta’s midfield options.

Talks for Sporting CP striker Gyokeres are also advancing quickly, with reports suggesting the two clubs are close to an agreement. A £4.3 million (€5 million) gap in valuations remains, but there is growing confidence that a full deal will be reached soon.

Despite these developments, Arsenal’s interest in Eze has not diminished. The Crystal Palace star remains a key target, and discussions are expected to continue in the coming weeks. Arsenal’s sporting director Andrea Berta faces significant transfer decisions as the club seeks to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. Eze’s potential arrival could add creativity and flair to Arteta’s attacking options, making this a story to watch closely.
