Arsenal Receive Boost in Pursuit of Premier League Star as Transfer Stance Shifts

Arsenal’s hopes of signing Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze have been given a boost, with fresh reports suggesting the player is now open to a move to the Emirates.

The 26-year-old attacking midfielder was one of the Premier League’s standout performers last season, contributing 25 goal involvements across all competitions.

Eze’s impressive form has attracted widespread interest, particularly from top Premier League clubs. Arsenal are reportedly among the front-runners as Mikel Arteta looks to add a versatile winger or attacking midfielder to provide greater depth and competition for Gabriel Martinelli on the left flank.

While Tottenham Hotspur were initially seen as favourites to land Eze, recent developments suggest the situation has shifted. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have made new contact regarding the player, and their growing interest has reportedly influenced Eze’s thinking as he weighs up his next move.

Eze could potentially join a number of expected summer arrivals at Arsenal, including Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Christian Nørgaard. The Gunners are also actively exploring options for a new striker, with Viktor Gyökeres, Benjamin Sesko, Ollie Watkins, and Hugo Ekitike all on their radar.

Although Tottenham remain interested, they are said to be considering alternative targets, giving Arsenal a clearer path to securing Eze’s signature. With his £85 million release clause still active, the next steps may depend on whether Arsenal are prepared to meet the asking price for one of the league’s most exciting talents.
